
Aleksandra Uzelac is researcher at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) and Head of the Department for Culture and Communication.
She has over 25 years of professional experience in the area of cultural research, focusing on issues of cultural and social sustainability and the social transformation of contemporary societies, digital culture, cultural policy and cultural cooperation issues, cultural heritage, gender balance in culture.
She has been a member of various networks and expert groups that focus their activities in the field of cultural policies or digital culture.
Dr. Uzelac has participated, and coordinated IRMO team, in several EU funded projects.
Presently she coordinates IRMO team on the H2020 project SoPHIA - Social Platform for Holistic Heritage Impact Assessment.
