
Maria Amélia Cupertino de Miranda is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dr. António Cupertino de Miranda Foundation.
A graduate in Germanic Philology from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra, she is a member of the Advisory Committee of the National Council of Financial Supervisors (since 2011) and a member of the Oporto Municipality Toponymy Commission.
She was Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Casa da Música Foundation and Member of the 1st Board of Curators of the University of Porto Foundation.
She was member of the National Council for Culture (2007-2013), and received a Gold Medal award from the City Council of Porto in 2016.
