Inês Câmara set up Mapa das Ideias with Ana Fernambuco and Daniela Araújo in 1999.

The company pursues a holistic and transdisciplinary approach to the fields of Culture, Heritage and Citizenship.

Since 2010, she has coordinated and collaborated in projects funded by Creative Europe, Erasmus Plus and Horizon 2020.

Besides her intense activity in Mapa, Inês Câmara is also a Board Member of Culture Action Europe and President of the “A Reserva” Association that focuses on global citizenship and community development in the arts and heritage sectors.

She was an assistant professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and is pursuing a never-ending PhD research on museums and their relevance.
