Inês Fialho Brandão coordinates the Memory Space of Exile Museum (Cascais Municipality/ D. Luis I Foundation).
She collaborated extensively with national and foreign entities as a museum professional and curator.
Her relevant projects include Crossed Looks on Art and Islam (2008); Collecting for Res Publica (2011); The Jewish Legacy in Portugal, exhibition in Cascais (2018), Unconfined Stories (2020).
She coordinated the family tour guides of the Municipal Museums of Cascais (2010-11).
She holds a degree in History and Art History, a Master’s in Islamic Studies and Museology and a PhD in History (National University of Ireland). She had fellowships from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Luso-American Development Foundation and the Foundation for Science and Technology.
In 2020, she received the Museologist of the Year Award from the Portuguese Museology Association.
